AHOY !!

Recognise this little block by any chance?

No? Well, then you will have noted that the language is far from the normal "like" and other banalities of Facebook lingo. That'll be because my Facebook is set in ENGLISH FOR PIRATES!

...Sorry for getting a little carried away with the Captain Jack pictures, but can you blame me??

Facebook offers several types of English; to choose yours, click on 'My Account' at the top right of the homepage, on  'Account Settings' and then the tab 'Language' on the next page that appears.

I think it's pretty cool. You have the choice of Pirate English:

Upside down English if you are a little crazy or have way too much spare time on your hands:

And then there's Esperanto...do you even know what this is??

Well the Pirate language certainly makes a change from Facebook's rather stale language, so I'm going see how long I can bear it for ;)

The pirate language seems pretty cool, definitely going to try it for a while!

Is this a real thing ... ? Because these options don't appear on my page.

Sure it is ! It's strange that they don't appear.
