Call for entries: Festival E-magiciens for the Young digital creation

E-magiciens is a manifestation based at Valenciennes which wants valorize young digital creation. It launches a call for entries for european students. The theme of this year is PLAY.


3 kind of creation are open:

• Video & Films

Fictional, animation works
Vizualisation documentary work for architecture, design...
Artistic, experimental, aesthetic works...

• Video Game

Open to students registered in university or college, including students registered for the year 2009-2010.

• Chained Animation

Teams of 3 students can enter the contest for the creation of 10 second animations based on an original image or a theme by the festival's guest artist.
Selected entrants will be invited to the 4 days of the festival to produce their animation.
The whole animation will be projected at the end of the festival.
